Impassioned by the matchless grace of these one-of-a-kind gems, Elizabeth Blair Kirby—aka Dilly—has made it her mission to show women around the world how pearls can make them beautiful in ways no other gem can.
She has met with enormous success. Consider: the contemporary and classic lines she created exclusively for sale at her historic Harbor Springs Pearl Salon; her longtime line at Neiman Marcus; custom couture pieces like the pearl and diamond crown showcased last year in New York; or the eight jury-selected pieces featured in the traveling exhibit, Magical Gifts of Nature 2010; and the successive awards in the Wedding Day Pearls category for the International Cultured Pearl Association annual competition.
Her artistry draws in no small part on her design degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, as well as extensive training in photography, watercolor, oil painting, fashion and interior design. But it is Elizabeth Blair's single-minded passion for and focus on pearls—she works with nothing but—which brings her clients back time and again.
